Jubilee Series 2.1

The JAAA/SDF Jubilee Series 2.1 will be held this weekend, Saturday 21 May at the National Stadium in Kingston. Action gets underway at 4:15 pm with the women’s long jump. The first track event, the women’s 400-meter hurdles, is set for 5:05 pm.


The Jubilee Series men’s 100 meters with Oblique Seville will be the day’s highlight. Michael Stephens, Oshane Bailey, Tyquendo Tracey, Antonio Watson and Jazeel Murphy will also face the starter. Kemar Bailey-Cole will also be in action. Remona Burchell, Shashalee Forbes, Natasha Morrison and Jodean Williams are down to contest the women’s 100 meters.

Sada Williams (BAR/MVP), Shashalee Forbes (Sprintec), Stephenie-Ann McPherson (MVP) and Candice McLeod are set to do battle in the
Women’s 200 meters.

Miguel Francis (GBR/Racers), Kadrian Goldson (GC Foster), Jazeel Murphy (Titans), Andel Miller (Eagles), Tyquendo Tracey and Demish Gaye (Sprintec) will be in the men’s 200 meters.

The men’s 110-meter hurdles will have Rasheed Broadbell (Elite) and Orlando Bennett (Racers). Tyrice Taylor will run the men’s 800 meters; O’Dayne Richards and Chad Wright are in the shot put, while Tissanna Hickling will compete in the long jump.
