Senior global representative Jason Morgan won the men’s discus throw at the Demon Invitational, held at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, on Saturday (11 April).
Morgan’s winning throw was 63.88m. He related the experience to TrackAlerts.com.
“I am feeling real good about my training and progress in this season. I made a few changes with my training and I am targeting some big throws leading up and in the summer, ”he said.
“It’s a jubilant feeling to be this determined and extremely motivated after a successful 2014 season,” while making reference to his Commonwealth Games and Continental Cup bronze medals.
“It’s a timeless feeling,” he ended.
