Carifta Games 4x100m record for Jamaica U20 ladies - 4x1 record - World Athletics U20
The team of Serena Cole, Tina Clayton, Brianna Lyston and Tia Clayton combined to smash the World U20 girls' 4x100m relay record after crossing the finish line in smashing time of 42.58 seconds

Tina Clayton, Brianna Lyston, Jaydon Hibbert and Bryan Levell headline Jamaica’s team for the World U20 Championships, set for Cali, Colombia – August 1-6.

Tina Clayton, who won the 100m gold in Nairobi last year, is looking for another podium finish. She told reporters she is “just looking to be on the podium” and to “execute my race properly and do well, as expected.”

Jaydon Hibbert is eying an upgrade to his triple jump silver medal. “So a personal best and a win, just to make everybody supporting me proud,” Hibbert said will be his main aim.

Brianna Lyston, who got a medical exemption from the trials, will return to lead the charge in the women’s 200m. “I would say I am in a good enough shape from Champs. I plan to execute the race well, and once I do, the time will come.”

The team has settled down in Cali for Monday’s event start.
