Tina Clayton wins the U20 girls' 100m final in 11.22 at Carifta Games 2022

Final entries have been published for the World U20 championships in Cali, Colombia, from 1-6 August.

In total, 16 athletes are defending their titles from Nairobi last August, including Jamaica’s Tina Clayton (100m), South Africa’s Mine de Klerk (shot put), and France’s Erwan Konate (long jump) and Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo (100m).

The standout event could be the women’s high jump featuring Karmen Bruus, Angelina Topic and Britt Weerman. All of them have cleared 1.95m or higher.

Final entry lists for the World Athletics U20 Championships Cali 22 confirm that more than 1500 athletes from 145 teams are set to compete at the Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium between 1-6 August.
