IMG 2161 1Former Jamaican athlete Jordan Scott (pictured left on the home page) died in a motorcar accident on Sunday morning (10 September) on Hope Road in Kingston.

According to information reaching Trackalerts.com, Scott and his MVP club teammate Michael Campbell, a member of Jamaica’s team to the London 2017 World Championships, were travelling together shortly after midnight when the car hit an embankment and crashed in a utility pole.

Campbell, who was admitted in critical condition, was pulled from the crashed car before a transformer fell on the car and caught fire.

IMG 2160Scott, a quartermiler, is believed to have died on the spot.
