ISTANBUL – The final entries for the Istanbul 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships, to be held from March 2-5, have been published.

The entry-lists feature seven reigning Olympic champions from Tokyo 2020, as well as 18 individual gold medallists from the Munich 2022 European Athletics Championships.

The men’s side will include Marcell Jacobs (60m), Karsten Warholm (400m), Jakob Ingebrigtsen (1500/3000m), Miltiadis Tentoglou (long jump), and Pedro Pichardo (triple jump), while the women’s side will feature Malaika Mihambo (long jump) and Nafissatou Thiam (pentathlon).

Greek triple jumper Dimitrios Tsiamis, who is 41 years and 42 days old, is the oldest athlete registered for the championships, while Andorran 400m runner Duna Vinals, at 16 years and 267 days old, is the youngest. European Athletics is organizing the event.
