Aleia Hobbs set a US record in the women’s 60m final at the US Indoors, clocking in at 6.94 seconds. The time made her the second-best performer of all time, just 0.02 seconds behind the world record of Irina Privalova from 1993 and 1995.
Marybeth St. Price finished in second place with a time of 7.09 seconds, while JT Smith pulled off a surprise win in the men’s 60m with a time of 6.53 seconds, beating Kendal Williams, who finished in second place with a time of 6.59 seconds.

Noah Lyles did not compete in the finals after clocking in at 6.56 seconds in the semi-finals. In other events, Sam Kendricks cleared 5.91m in the pole vault, while Katie Moon won the women’s pole vault with a height of 4.80m and attempted to clear 4.90m for a world-leading height.
Chase Ealey won the women’s shot put with a throw of 19.87m, while Joe Kovacs won the men’s shot put with a throw of 21.55m. Keturah Orji won the women’s triple jump with a distance of 14.31m, while among the men, Shelby McEwen cleared 2.24m to win the high jump, and William Williams Jr. won the long jump with a distance of 8.20m.
In the women’s hurdles, Alaysha Johnson won with a time of 7.83 seconds, followed by Tonea Marshall with 7.85 seconds. Freddie Crittenden won the men’s hurdles with a time of 7.485 seconds, ahead of Robert Dunning, who finished in second place with a time of 7.489 seconds.
Anna Hall set a personal best with a time of 51.03 seconds to win the women’s 400m, while Justin Robinson won the men’s race with a time of 45.40 seconds, beating Noah Williams, who finished in second place with a time of 45.69 seconds.
Nia Akins won the women’s 800m in 2:00.16, while Bryce Hoppel won the men’s race in 1:45.92.
