It seems one of Jamaica’s best talent, Alesha Kelly, has left Hydel and is linked to St. Jago High School.

Further checks with both schools track and field programmes came up with very little information.

But during conversations with well-placed sources, Kelly visited St. Jago at least one evening, while she missed training or Exam at Hydel for the past two weeks.

Kelly missed Champs 2015 because she transferred to Hydel from Guys Hills in 2014. She will be first year one.

During last season, Kelly won the Digicel Grand Prix 400m title for Under-19 girls.

Kelly, who crossed the finish line first in the Under-20 400m at Carifta Games Trials in 53.30, was disqualified for lane violation. Papine High’s Tiffany James got the victory ahead of Camperdown’s Dawnalee Loney (See video below).

In 2014, Shaniel English, one of Jamaica’s top junior sprinters, left Hydel for St. Jago.
