Holmwood Technical High’s coach Dwight Jones described his team’s High School Girls’ 4x800m Championship of America success as ‘sweet’

The team of Delverna Bromfield (2:12.11), Brittney Campbell (2:11.16), Nicolee Foster (2:11.22) and Chrisanni May (2:13.68) took Homlwood, who led from the start, home in 8:48.15 at the 123rd Penn Relays at Franklin Field Stadium.

Edwin Allen’s anchor leg runner Cemore Donald, who had the fastest split, 2:08.69secs, was not able to do much, but took her team across the line in 8:55.41.
