Olympian Chrisann Gordon is among three Jamaicans set to travel to Nebraska for the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational on the weekend.
Gordon, who helped Jamaica to silver in the 4x400m at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, makes her first 400m appearance.
Gordon, who finished 3rd at NCAA Indoor Championships last year, will also run on the 4x400m relay to close the meet.
In the men’s 60m, former Munro College student, and Texas A&M senior Senoj-Jay Givans will take centre stage. According to a release from his school, Givans is expected to run fast on Saturday.
He is coming off his best outdoor season yet, becoming the first Longhorn to run a legal sub-10 in the 100 meters. He then placed 6th at the Jamaican Olympic Trials.
Former St. Andrew High and Camperdown athlete Rushelle Burton will run the women’s 60m hurdles.
