The men’s 400 metres at Saturday’s Gibson Relays at the National Stadium is expected to feature a big showdown between Jamaica and the Bahamas.

The Jamaican pair of Riker Hylton and Alodin Fothergill, who are seeded with 45.25 and 45.35 respectively will come face to face with Bahamian Wesley Neymour, whose time is 45.54.

No other athlete in the field has ever broken the 46-second barrior, the next best being Jonia McDonald of UTech with 46.30.

In the women's 400-metre event, Ronda Whyte of Sprint Tec is the one to beat with a personal-best 53.20.
The event also features Samantha James of Utech and Mobay Comets' Shanice Cunningham.
