The principal and management of GC Foster College has taken the decision to close the college for all classes until further notice.

According to principal Dr. Joyce Graham-Royal "the decision close the college was taken after a massive sewage problem was found on the property and due to the magnitude of the repairs being done, it is not feasible for classes to be held at this time".  She said further "the repairs needed are far more than was anticipated."

During the closure there will be limited access to the college for all stakeholders including students, ancillary and administrative staff, lecturers and athletes who would normally train at the college.

Dr. Graham-Royal said that she was sorry for all the inconvenience, however, the action was absolute necessity, as the situation poses health hazards to all relevant parties.  "We will advise at the soonest possible time when regular activities will resume at the college."
