SAN JUAN –  Former IAAF Vice President Dr Amadeo Francis is calling for changes in the world governing body’s constitution, report Grenada Sports.

He proposes that future IAAF Presidents should be limited to three consecutive terms (12 years) in office, that candidates for Council must be under the age of 70, that one of the four vice presidents should be female and that the election process should be changed to a new system.

Nations supporting these amendments include Grenada, St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Lucia, the US Virgin Islands, Nicaragua and Hungary.
