Five Jamaican teams booked Championship of America 4x800m final spots here at Penn Relays inside the Franklin Field, University of Pennsylvania on Friday.

St. Jago with 7:48.21 will enter the final as the third fastest team behind State College 7:47.78 and Lake Braddock 7:47.78.

Joel Jean Pierre 1:55.94 and Keenan Lawrence, on anchor, 1:56.05 were the two fastest runners for the Monk Street-based St. Jago team.

Jauavney James with his 1:56.12 split carried STETHS in the final with 7:49.14

Kingston College (KC) also got a lane in the final with their 7:50.65secs run. Jamaica College (JC) finished 5th in the heat, but secured their final place with 7:53.32.

Bellefield, the slowest of the finalists, thanks to Shevan Parks 1:52.66, the fastest split of the day, will enter with 7:53.43.
