Defending champions Edwin Allen will lead six Jamaican schools into the High School Girls’ 4x100m Championship of America final on Friday (27 April).
Peter-Gay McKenzie, Kasheika Cameron, Fredricka McKenzie and Kamoy Farquharson carried Edwin Allen to victory in the opening heat with 45.41secs.
Holmwood, 45.90secs, thanks to Kelliesha King, Kadeja Campbell, Michae Harriott and Kimberley Baker will enter as the third fastest time, behind Western Beach, 45.63.
Hydel with the quartet of Ray-Donna Lee, Ashanti Moore, Sharikae Campbell and Yanique Dayle, advanced with 46.10secs.
The other Jamaican teams in the finals are St. Jago 46.20, Petersfield, 46.43 and St. Catherine, 46.62.
The final will be contested 1:27pm Jamaica time
