Former Jamaica’s shot putter Dorian Scott, in a recent interview with Trackalerts.com, said he is enjoying coach the throwing events. Scott set a personal best is 21.45m in March 2008, a Jamaican record before O’Dayne Richards broke it at the 2015 Pan American Games with a throw of 21.69.

He won the Central American and Caribbean Championships in 2005, then the Caribbean American and Caribbean Games gold in 2010. Scott represented Jamaica at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games.
