Kevona Davis and Ashanti Moore could face-off over 200m at the 2020 Central Athletics Championships, which runs on Tuesday (18 Feb) at GC Foster College.
Edwin Allen’s Davis will only run the 200m while Moore of Hydel should run both sprint events. The 200m event is set for the final day.
In 2019, Moore won the 11.46 and 200m 24.05 (23.92 in the heats). She went on to win the Class 1 double at Champs in 11.17 and 23.26.
Davis, at Central Champs 2019, only ran the Class 2 girls’ 200m and won in 23.24. She went on to win the double at Champs in 11.19 and 23.21.
Meanwhile, Edwin Allen will be searching for their 11th straight title while St. Jago boys should continue their dominance.
St. Jago, Hydel, Vere and Holmwood are the top girls’ teams while Holmwood, Vere and Manchester are expected to compete for the top five places.

Think we get a chance to see kevona put her all out straight to the finish
I think that Edwin Allen class 2 4×100 will run a faster time than class 1 girls and class 3 boys
I take Kevona to win the clash, whenever that happens
Lightning n thunder
Earthquake
Wait until champs u see the clash
Roxroy Campbell that’s my exact sentiment
Roxroy Campbell agreed
that clash will not happen til champs
@Omar Brown Both running the 200
Davis running the 200m, Moore the 100.
Keep dreaming clash will happen at champs…
The clash won’t happen until Champs. Neither coach is going to risk the psychological impact of a loss, so close to Champs.
