Twayne Crooks took Kingston College (KC) 4x800m team home in a record time at Saturday’s 39th Gibson McCook Relays at the National Stadium in Kingston.
Crooks, who attended Vere last year, held off the fast finishing Jauavney James of St. Elizabeth, to take the event in record time – 7:33.87 seconds.
KC beat the previous best of 7:34.96 set in 1994.
STETHS finished second in 7:34.78 while third went to Holmwood in 7:39.44.
Edwin Allen 7:41.09 and Spalding 7:50.45 rounded off the top five finishers.
