MARRAKECH, Morocco – Kim Collins won the man’s 100m today (8 June) at the Mohammed VI d'Athletisme in Marrakech, Morocco.

Collins crossed the line in 10.13 seconds to hold off the challenges of Femi Qgunode of Qatar 10.14 and Jamaican Kemar Bailey-Cole 10.16.

In the men’s 200m, Jason Livermore finished second in 20.28, beaten by Qgunode 20.16.

On the women’s side, Jamaicans Simone Facey and Aleen Bailey finished 1-2 in 22.70 and 22.89 respectively. Canadian Crystal Emmanuel ended 3rd in 23.20secs.

American Lolo Jones won the women’s 100m hurdles in 12.74 ahead of compatriot Kristi Castlin 12.81. In the 400m hurdles, Russian Wenda Theron won in 54.82 ahead of Tiffany Williams of USA 54.82.

Shevon Stoddart of Jamaica finished 4th in 55.90.

Tianna Bartoletta of USA won the women’s long jump with 6.93m.
