Jamaicans Christopher Taylor and Britany Anderson won their respective events at Saturday’s (29 Jan) Millrose Games in New York.

Anderson topped the women’s 60m hurdles, running a personal best time of 7.91secs, after trailing Bahamian Devynne Charlton for the first four hurdles.
Charlton finished second in 7.95.
Two of Americans top hurdlers, Tonea Marshall, 7.99 and Keni Harrison, 8.00, were third and fourth, respectively.
Taylor won his event, the men’s 400m in 46.38 ahead of Americans Vernon Norwood, 46.45 and Donavan Brazier, 46.55
Brianna Williams finished fourth in the women’s 60m dash. She ran 7.22 behind Americans Aleia Hobbs, 7.11, Mikilah Brisco, 7.15 and Shawnti Jackson, 7.18.
Gabby Thomas finished sixth in 7.25 and English Gardner seventh in 7.38.
Christian Coleman returned to Millrose Games and led from start to finish to win the men’s 60m dash in 6.49. Fellow Americans Trayvon Bromell, 6.50 and Ronnie Baker, 6.54, took the minor places.
Jamaican Omar McLeod finished sixth in 6.70.
American Shane Stretch topped the Michael Blum men’s mile in a personal best of 3:57.98 ahead of Luke McCann of Ireland, 3:58.21.
Devon Allen ran a world-leading 7.51 to win the men’s 60m hurdles over compatriot Daniel Roberts, 7.53.
Barbadian Shane Brathwaite finished third in 7.67.
