The 2018 Americas YOG Athletics Trials has changed venue.
According to a release send by Victor Lopez, president of the North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Track and Field Association, the event will now be held in Managua, Nicaragua
“Due to reasons beyond our control, the 2018 Americas YOG Athletics Trials which were scheduled for Cali, Colombia to be held June 21-23, 2018 , have bee changed to Managua, Nicaragua on the same date,” the release said.
“Today the APA Office, received an official notification from the Colombian Athletics Federation explaining that due to internal conflicts, they were not able to organize the Trials, that they regreted very much to take this decisión and expressed their apologies to the Americas Athletics Family,” continued the release.
APA is composed of the IAAF Continental Areas, NACAC and CONSUDATLE and represent the sport of Athletics in PanamSports.
