The organisers of Central Hurdles and Relays have joined forces with GC Foster College for the 10th staging of the meet on Saturday on the campus.
The meet will now be known as Central Hurdles and Relays/GC Foster Field Events.
For the first time, the meet will host all the field events in all classes. The discus, shot put and the javelin will be the events.
In former years, the meet featured the long jump, high jump and the triple jump for selected classes.
The meet will continue to have all the relays in addition to the hurdle races.
Additionally, there will be selected races for clubs and institutions. These include the 60m and the 200m.
The meet will start at 8:30 am with the 4x800m and end with the 4x 00m.
Maurice Wilson of Sprintec and GC Foster College says a number of senior athletes are expected to open their season at the meet.
