Veronica Campbell-Brown completed the sprint double at the Atlanta leg of the American Track League (ATL) on Saturday night (August 1).
VCB, who earlier won the 100m in 11.22, returned to take the 200m in 22.82.
American Charonda Williams finished second in 23.25.
Trinidad & Tobago’s Semoy Hackett finished third in 23.27.
Meanwhile, it was 1-2 for Jamaica in the men’s 110m hurdles final. Omar McLeod topped the field in 13.28 ahead of Andrew Riley 13.39.
Barbadian Shane Brathwaite was 5th in 13.62 and Cayman Islands’ Roland Forbes, 6th in 13.80.
Bahamian Steven Gardiner topped the men’s 400m field in 45.11.
Deon Lendore of Trinidad & Tobago made a return to competitive action with 45.94 for 7th. Mike Berry, also of T&T, was 4th in 45.77.
Natoya Goule finished 3rd in the women’s 800m in 2:02.16. The event was won by Maggie Vessey of USA 2:00.30.
American 400m world champion LaShawn Merritt won the men’s 300m in 31.53.
