According to information reaching Trackalerts.com, ISSA, the governing body for high school sporting events, has decided to limit the number of transfer student/athletes per teams.

Calabar has withdrawn from Saturday’s (23 February) Gibson/McCook Relays, set for the National Stadium.

Calabar, according to information reaching Trackalerts.com, is gearing up for heavy back-to-back weekends, Carifta Games Trails, Digicel Grand Prix Final and Champs.

This has led the managing and coaching staff to prioritize in order to lessen the workload on the athletes, hence the decision to skip the Gibson/McCook Relays.

“A meeting was held Thursday evening and the decision was taken to withdraw the team,” said the source close to the team.
