Calabar boys repeated while Edwin Allen regained their titles as Jamaica’s High Schools Track and Field Championships came to an exciting end at the National Stadium in Kingston on Saturday night.

The Red Hills Road-based ‘Rabalac’ won their third straight title and 23rd overall crown with 305 points while Edwin Allen from Frankfield in Clarendon, added to their first title of 2012 with 237.5 points.

Calabar 305, Kingston College 208.50, Jamaica College 190, St. Jago 158.50, St. Elizabeth Technical 123, Wolmer's High School for Boys 97.50, Edwin Allen 51, Munro College 50, Holmwood Technical 47 and St. George's College 46. The full boys standing can be found at this link

On the girls’ side, the top 10, are Edwin Allen 337.50, St. Jago 263, Hydel 229, Holmwood Technical 211.50, Vere Technical 141, Wolmer's High School for Girls 89, Manchester High 79, St. Elizabeth Technical 65, Convent of Mercy Alpha 50, Rusea's High 38. Meanwhile, in Champs 2014 final events, St. Jago and Edwin Allen lived up to expectations, more so the former in a record 3:08.31 to beat STETHS 3:08.67 and JC 3:09.97. St. Jago team included Ivan Henry, Martin Manley and Nathon Allen.

Edwin Allen, on the girls side, with Saqukine Cameron, Monique Spencer, Marleena Eubanks and Camira Haughton, won the 4×4 open in 3:35.70 ahead of Vere 3:37.70 and St. Jago 3:38.88
