IAAF presidential candidate Sergey Bubka will launch his election program during a Google Hangout Session, which will be broadcast live on YouTube at 3pm Kyiv time on Wednesday.
The decision to use social media was taken to ensure maximum accessibility to international media as well as National Federations and all other members of the global Athletics family.
At the launch Sergey Bubka will announce details of a program, which includes Vision 2025, the most thorough review ever conducted of all elements of global athletics involving all National Federations and all other stakeholders.
In advance of the launch Bubka said: “My dream is to Take Athletics to New Heights and my program is based firmly on service and deeper collaboration between the National Federations and the IAAF to build on the positive legacy of our sport, to make it even more universal, compelling, exciting and valuable in an era driven by technology.”
