The Tyson Invitational will feature Tina Clayton, Brianna Lyston, and Tajay Gayle. This weekend’s event is set for the university’s campus in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The women’s 60m lineup is set to be a nail-biting race featuring some of the biggest names in track and field.

World U20 Champion Brianna Lyston

Freshman Brianna Lyston from Louisiana State University (LSU) has shown tremendous promise in her young career and is definitely a runner to watch in this race. She is the world U20 champion and has already made a name for herself in the track and field world. 

Sadi Giles from Texas State, Leah Pettis from TAMU-Commerce, Cecilia Tamayo-Garza from Houston, Ariyonna Augustine from Ole Miss, and Kayleigh Prentiss from Barton County CC are also listed for Lyston’s heat 1.

Talented Athletes from Around the World

Jamaica’s two-time World U20 Tina Clayton and compatriots Natasha Morrison and Shockoria Wallace are also set to compete in the women’s open 60m. Clayton is a force to be reckoned with and will undoubtedly be giving her best performance at the Tyson Invitational. The race also features talented athletes from around the world, including Bahamian Anthonique Strachan, Americans Talliyah Brooks and Jada Baylark, and Cindy Sember of Great Britain.

Exciting Men’s 60m Event

The men’s 60m event is also set to be an exciting race, featuring Doha 2019 long jump champion Tajay Gayle and Michael Campbell. Jamaicans Rusheen McDonald, Jaheel Hyde, and Kemar Mowatt will be contesting the men’s 400m event.

Women’s 60m Hurdles

Amoi Brown and Daszay Freeman will contest the women’s 60m hurdles, adding to the already impressive lineup for the Tyson Invitational.

Favorites to Watch

Jamaican Arkansas Junior Dazay Freeman and LSU’s Thelma Davies are among the favorites to watch in the upcoming competition. Freeman will be running in heat 4, while Davies is expected to give a strong performance.
