RIO, Brazil – Usain Bolt plans to be in Rio ahead of the 2016 Olympics.

The multiple Olympic and World Championships sprint gold medalist was pleased to inform members of the Brazilian Press on Thursday (16 April) of his interest in moving to the Brazilian city next year, to prepare for his final Olympic appearance.

The Jamaican born sensation said "Maybe I should move to Rio, I’m always happy to be here. I think I could settle in Rio where I could spend some time and enjoy the city ahead of the Olympics."

In what he considers to be a 'grande finale' the lanky and exuberant sprinter promises to deliver a great performance at the Games, to crown his phenomenal Olympic career.

The 6 time Olympic gold medalist and 3 time world record holder, added ”I am definitely excited, the closer it gets to the Olympics the more excited I get."

"I am in great shape this year and will be looking to come to Rio healthy and do my best at the Olympics," added Bolt.
