MARIETTA, Georgia, USA – Jamaicans Akeem Bloomfield, Nathon Allen and Natalliah Whyte were winners at Saturday’s American Track League.
Whyte won both women sprints. In the 100m, Whyte ran 11.57 (-1.8m/s wind) and 23.59 (+0.1m/s wind) to beat Gabby Scott of Puerto Rico, 24.18.
Bloomfield’s victory came in the men’s 200m. He ran 20.80 to beat Jaron Flournoy, 21.06.
Allen topped the men’s 400m, running 46.50 to beat Champ Page, 46.53 and Justin Brooks, 47.26.
In the 100m, Bahamian Warren Fraser 10.41 (-0.3m/s) in heat two while Demek Kemp did 10.43 (-0.2) heat 1.
British Virgin Islands’ Chantal Malone achieved 6.60m (-0.2m/s) in the long jump to beat Tiffany Flynn, 6.47m.
Jamaican Sabina Allen with 13.70m finish behind Keturah Orji 13.83m in the triple jump.
Bermuda´s Tyrone Smith got 7.66m (+0.8) in the long jump and Chris Carter 16.36 (-0.8) in the triple jump.
Olympic winner Ryan Crouser improved the world shot put lead twice on the day. He threw 21.83m on his second attempt and 21.87m on his fifth. Behind him, Nick Ponzio equalled his PB 21.08m.
