National 100m champion Yohan Blake recorded the second fastest time from the heats of the men’s 200m on Saturday’s (22 June) opening session of Jamaica Trials.

Blake, the only sub-10 Jamaica this year, ran 9.96 to win the 100m final on Friday night. He returned to take his 200m heats in 20.66 seconds.

However, the morning’s fastest qualifier was Andel Miller, who ran 20.58 seconds.
