Anthonique Strachan spoke after her first-round performance at the 14th IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019.

Former world junior champion Anthonique Strachan ran 22.86 to win her 200m heat ahead of Kamaria Durant of Trinidad & Tobago 23.08 and Jamaica’s Shashalee Forbes 23.15.
