Allyson Felix said she is very happy for her friend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, who won the 17th IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019 women’s 100m title.
“I was so happy for Shelly-Ann, I had goosebumps watching her,” said Felix, one of the most decorated athletes of all time.
“She is my friend, and we support each other, so she showing that is possible and I hope to follow her lead,” added Felix.
Felix helped the USA to win 4x400m mixed relay, which took her to 12 World Championships medals, one more than Usain Bolt.
