Shaunae Miller wanted sub 22

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Shaunae Miller set a Bahamian 200m record of 22.05 in Kingston on Saturday but expressed disappointment that she didn’t run even faster, informs the Jamaica Gleaner.

"I am extremely proud with my win and personal best, and when Prandini was in front, I did not panic because I knew I had a lot in reserve,” Miller, the World Championships 400m silver medal winner said.

Miller, who earlier in her career won World Youth and World Junior titles, continued: “my only disappointment was that I did not go sub-22 seconds.”
