World and Olympic Games 400m champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo was a third-place finisher at Friday’s (13 May) Doha Diamond League meeting.

Miller-Uibo crossed the finish line in 51.84 behind winner Paulino Marileidy of the Dominican Republic, 51.20.
Jamaica’s Stephenie-Ann McPherson finished second in 51.69, and Candice McLeod fifth in 52.37.
In the men’s 400m hurdles, Jamaican Jaheel Hyde ran 50.23 for fifth. Kyron McMaster of BVI was fourth in 49.93.
Alison dos Santos won the event in a world-leading and meeting record 47.24. He beat Rai Benjamin of the USA, who crossed the line in 47.49.
