AUBURN, USA – Bahamas Islands featured at the War Eagle Invitational with sprinting victories from Teray Smith, Anthonique Strachan and Sheniqua Ferguson.
Smith 20.54 (+0.9m/s wind) topped the men’s 200m, 2012 World Junior Champion Strachan won the women’s 200m in 22.89 (+1.2m/s) and Ferguson 11.27 (+0.5) in the 100m. She was faster with 11.21 (+1.9) in the heats)
At 32-years old World finalist Marc Burns clocked his fastest 100m since 2012 with 10.17 (+0.7) for the top spot.
Jamaican Kimberley Laing took the female sprint hurdle race in a personal best 12.95 (+0.9).
