OSLO (NOR): World record holder Karsten Warholm travelled on Wednesday to the USA, according to nettavisen.no

It was one day later than originally planned due to SAS strike. But Karsten Warholm stated he is on the right track after the injury he suffered earlier this year.

“I’m still undergoing rehabilitation, but it’s going the right way. At the same time, it is clear that I need the time to be 100 per cent ready for the competition,” says Karsten Warholm, who set a new world record in the Tokyo 2022 Olympic Games final.

Coach Leif Olav Alnes also stated that Warholm is on the right track but that they will not take any chances in the championship if he is not one hundred per cent. His pre-camp will be in Berkeley, California.
