Sherone Simpson will host a panel discussion today (4 June) Elaine Thompson-Herah and Maurice Wilson.
Swimmer Alia Atkinson and physiotherapist Dr Jo Brown will also be a part of the panel, set up by the Olympians Association of Jamaica.
Live and interactive LINK-UP of the discussions will start at 4:00 and ends 5:00 PM EST (Jamaican time) via the Zoom platform courtesy of the PanAm Sports Organization.
All athletes are welcome to gain insights and inspiration to sharpen their competitive edge from Olympians and other experts in the Jamaican Olympic fraternity.
President of the OAJ, Marvin Anderson, is thrilled about the staging of this online event, which is a first of its kind, engaging simultaneously with Jamaican Olympians wherever they are in the world.
The discussions will centre on the athlete’s individual experiences and the impact that the pandemic presents for team sports and personal preparation. This OAJ Link-Up represents the initiation of a series of events serving the needs of the sporting community both virtually and face-to-face.
