Trinidad and Tobago’s sprinter Khalifa St. Fort is now a devoted Christian.

St. Fort disclosed on November 17, “Today I got baptised, and my family was there to support me. I love them, and I love Jesus, and I’m not afraid to let the world know.”

The World Championship 4x100m bronze medalist and Olympic finalist, in the same event, tweeted the day before baptism, “A lot can change in a year, I am a completely different person than I was last year. It’s all because of Jesus. Give Jesus a chance, and he will never disappoint you.”

Earlier this year, St. Fort reportedly parted ways with her coach Ato Boldon.

She won silver in the 100m at the 2015 World U18 Championships and gold at the Pan Am Jr. Championships in 2015 and 2017. She also is a 100m bronze medallist from the 2016 World U20 Championships.
