Provisionally suspended Trinidad and Tobago sprinter Michelle-Lee Ahye is admitting this season has a lot of ‘lows’.

The Athletics Integrity Unit said Ahye is on suspension “Whereabouts Failures.”

Ahye, who won bronze behind Elaine Thompson in the women’s 100m at August’s Pan Am Games in Lima, was earlier this year arrested for beating her wife.

“Been taking a lot of L’s this year ??‍♀️?but that’s ok imma bounce back. I’m still living my best life tho ?,” Ahye said on her social media page.

Ahye was a member of Trinidad and Tobago’s Beijing 2015 World Championships 4x100m bronze team. She won Trinidad and Tobago’s first and only female track and field gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
