It’s easy… The STAR athlete of Day 2 #Champs2019 is Kington College’s (KC) Wayne Pinnock.

The 18-year-old Pinnock broke the Class 1 boys’ long jump record twice on day 2. He first leapt 7.95m to remove the old mark of 7.87m set by Leon Gordon in 1993.

The KC fifth former then recorded his first legal mark over 8-metre, 8.05m to round off a great day. He now turns his attention to the Class 1 boys’ 110m hurdles.
