Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare is targeting a top podium finish at the this year’s World Championships in Doha, informs the New Telegraph Nigeria.
“Of course there is always a target. I am still missing that World Championships gold medal,” said Okagbare, who won silver and bronze at this level.
“I actually want to represent Nigeria, not to just go there, but to get the right medal and be able to do what I am supposed to do when I am healthy,” added the former African record holder at 10.79.
“Things people know I am capable of doing, I just hope everything goes well for me,” she said.
Okagbare has just resumed training after missing the second half of the outdoor campaign due to injury.
