Fraser-Pryce, Jackson, Miller-Uibo in tough Birmingham DL 200m

The most potent women’s 200m field of 2018 will assemble for the Birmingham Diamond League on Saturday, August 18.

Great British’s Dina Asher-Smith, who ran a world-leading 10.85 to win the European Championships last year, faces Bahamian Shaunae Miller-Uibo, who is unbeaten this year.

Shelly, Shericka also in Birmingham DL field

Jamaicans Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Shericka Jackson, the newly crowned NACAC Championships champion, are also in the field.

It also comprises Dafne Schippers, Jenna Prandini and Marie-Josee Ta Lou. The slowest in the field is Gabrielle Thomas with a PB of 22.19.

In the men’s 100m, Jamaicans Yohan Blake and Tyquendo Tracey, along with Americans Noah Lyles and Christian Coleman and UK’s Zharnel Hughes are the top contenders.
