BASSETERRE, St. Kitts and Nevis – Ever young sprinter Kim Collins announced this winter ending of his indoor career on social media.
Now via his agent Caroline Feith, the 2003 World champion confirmed his plans to run outdoors in 2018 and is taking it as his farewell season.
“I felt the need to still do one more outdoor season and be able to say farewell to my fans and all the friends that I made over the years all over the world,”said Collins.
“Training for summer is going well,” he said.
Collins will be soon 42 on April 5 and clocked good quality 6.60 as season best in the indoor season.
