GOLD COAST, Australia – Australian media are informing that sprint World record holder Usain Bolt will attend the Commonwealth Games.

As couriermail.com.au writes Bolt will attend the Games for the second week of the event as a celebrity spectator. Bolt’s appearance was confirmed last night by Jamaica’s former 100m world champion Yohan Blake. Official confirmation from the organisers is expected on Tuesday.

The 2011 World champion Blake arrived to Australia (Brisbane) during the weekend. He is looking to win his first Commonwealth Games medal on the Gold Coast, after missing the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games due to injury.
