Asafa targets Commonwealth Games

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Twelve years after winning the 100m title in Melbourne, Asafa Powell is targeting the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast next April, informs the Jamaica Gleaner.

“There isn’t much going on next year either, so I would definitely want to go to the Commonwealth Games,” he said.

Powell is also aiming to break the sub-10 barrier for the 100m for the 100th time in 2018. His next race will be in Zagreb on Tuesday.
