EUGENE – Justin Gatlin and Andre De Grasse will face-off over 100 metres at this weekend’s (on May 27) 43rd Prefontaine Classic, the third stop in the IAAF Diamond League Series.
They will clash for the second time since last summer’s Rio Olympic final where Gatlin was 2nd and De Grasse 3rd.
Also in the race will be newcomer Ronnie Baker of USA, Ben Youssef Meite of Ivory Coast, European 200 m champion Adam Gemili and another Brit CJ Ujah, Chinese record holder Su Bingtian and experienced Mike Rodgers.
