Senior Athletes invited to submit names for III IAAF World Relays

Jamaican athletes wishing to participate at next month’s World Relays in Nassau, Bahamas are being asked to identify themselves.

In a note from the The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA), “Senior Athletes” interested in the April 22 – 23 event should submit information such as name, event, best time from August 1, 2016 to present and email contact.

The deadline for submission is April 3 2017 to athleticsja@cwjamaica.com.
Jamaica won gold in the men’s 4x200m and women’s 4x100m at the last IAAF World Relays in the 2015.

All previous editions of the event were held at the same venue – the Thomas A Robinson Stadium.

Usain Bolt, who helped Jamaica’s 4x100m team to second behind USA in 2015, has ruled himself out of the event. Elaine Thompson has expressed an interest.
