MOSCOW (RUS): Russian deputy prime minister Vitaliy Mutko has admitted many coaches in the country do not know how to work without resorting to drugs but he believes genuine change is happening in Russian athletics, informs Sport Express.

“Many coaches do not understand how you can work without doping, and it is time [for them] to retire. But over the last year we have done a tremendous job. We have new leadership at the federation, a new head coach, new vice-presidents, new athletes. All athletes are under testing control,” he said.

Mutko added he was not surprised the IAAF extended Russia’s suspension beyond the World Championships in London.
