Two new events for Queen’s/Grace Jackson Meet 2017

The Queen’s School Past Students’ Association – Sports Development Committee will host the 16th staging of the annual Queen’s/Grace Jackson Meet on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the National Stadium.

The meet remains a qualifying meet for the Boy’s and Girls’ Championships, and continues to serve as a season opener for many elite athletes.

The order of events includes but is not limited to 200M, 400M, 4x400M, long jump and high jump. The event with commence at 8:30am, admission is JMD $500 for adults and JMD$200 for students with ID and children under 12 years old. Accommodation will be at the Grand Stand only.

Competitors of the Meet will comprise of track teams from varying secondary/high schools and clubs from urban and rural Jamaica. Just added after last week’s team meeting a special 60m and 100m for elite athletes to be ran at 6pm. Registration will only be online via the event’s website www.queensgracejacksonmeet.com.jm. Results of the Meet will also be accessed online, at said address. Registration closes on Monday January 23, 2017 at midnight.
