ORLANDO, USA – Olympic Games 100m silver medallist, American Justin Gatlin, has taken a decision to focus only on the shorter sprint in 2017.
Gatlin will no longer aim for success at international stage in the 200m, informed his agent Renaldo Nehemiah.
“The reasoning is to preserve the wear and tear on his body,” said Nehemiah
Meanwhile, the sprinter will start his training for next season this weekend in Florida.
He will not compete during the indoor season.
